Each year, The Verve Newspaper staff puts on an elegant gala, known as The Black & White, for the high school students, alumni, and teachers of The King's Academy and the community. This event serves as the pivotal fundraiser to fund the mission of The Verve. Guests enjoy a delightful evening of live musical performances, enjoyable dancing, delicious desserts, and free giveaways in a beautiful themed setting.
